THE ROAD SO FAR

We already know the story of the Winchester brothers. From humble beginnings, the death of their mother threw the boys into a whole new life. They were raised around hunting. Their father was a hunter and it was regarded as the family business. What Sam and Dean would end up spending their entire lives doing. Dean was always more open to the world, a naturally born hunter, while Sam had ambition, he was an intellectual. Sam broke away from the life he had led with his father and brother to go off to college and try to establish some sort of normal life.

Sam's normal was trashed the day that his place at college was broken into. Broken into, but this was no robbery or attack... it was Dean. He told Sam that their father was missing and he needed Sam's help to find him. Sam had helped Dean on a case but then refused to go with him to find their dad, staying at college with his hopefully soon to be fiancée and a chance at a future. That night Jessica, Sam's girlfriend, died the exact same death that Sam's mother endured all those years before. After that Sam swore to help Dean in a bid to track down and kill Jessica's killer.

Their lives as hunters were anything but easy. Between demons and forces of darkness, the boys had to deal with demonic powers, the death of their dad, Sam dying, Dean making a deal to save him, Dean eventually dying, Dean being brought back by angels... all of which occurred in between huge demonic and angelic forces trying to kill the Winchesters. Crazy didn't even come close to describing their lives.

A little while after Dean made a deal that offered up his soul for his brother’s life, he returned to see an old flame of his. Finding out she had a child, a son, who bore an uncanny resemblance to the womanizing hunter. Dean thought that Ben, the boy, could be his. Upon asking, he was told the child wasn't his and though he wouldn't admit it, he was heart broken that Ben wasn't. Dean's idea of perfect was right there with Lisa and Ben.

PREVIOUSLY

In 2010, Dean and Sam Winchester ventured into hell with a plan. This plan was unlike anything they had ever planned before because it involved Dean having to let Sam go to hell and go and live a normal life. After watching his brother fall to his death, Dean headed to Lisa and Ben. They were his normal life.

It took a while for the wounds to heal, but slowly being a part of a family eased the ache in Dean's heart. Despite Ben not being Dean's child biologically, he was never any less than that to Dean, so shortly after marrying Lisa in a small, low key ceremony, he adopted Ben as his own. Having a son was one of the most amazing things for Dean. What was the only thing that could make it better? Was another one! Oh and a daughter! His own family. A happy family.

NOW

Twenty-five years after Sam went to hell and Dean started his own family, the world may have changed, but not as much as you would think. And not necessarily for the better. There are still things lurking in the shadows and there are still hunters devoting their lives to stopping them. Despite his promise to live a normal life, Dean couldn't ignore what was out there and trained his sons to be hunters, the same as his dad had trained him and Sam. Now with three grown-up children, determined to follow in Daddy's footsteps, the world should know it better beware; after all, Winchester was always a name that struck fear into the demon community!

There's a world full of nasties just waiting to get the rock salt and holy water treatment, the question is... Are you a nasty or are you the one fighting them? Hell, you might even be an innocent bystander or just unsure where your loyalties lie.

There's just one thing for sure, this is going to be one crazy ride that you do not want to miss. After all, whatever rises Out of the Ashes, is almost guaranteed to be more stunning and magnificent than ever before...

We're putting a new meaning on the word war... Are you ready to fight it?
